Ever since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed stop motion films such as Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and The Nightmare Before Christmas and I've still do to this day.

MODELMAKING
PROPS
Chessboard
The board was made of out cardboard which was painted white and the black squares were drawn on top after. The chess pieces were all made out of polymer clay baked in an oven for about a minute.
Cinema Snacks
The popcorn box was made out of cardboard and the hotdogs and popcorn were all made out of plasticine.
TV and retro games console
Both of the props were made out of cardboard, layered with masking tape and painted. The green card was intended to be used to chroma key out in post-production and replace with other media.
Christmas tree and presents
The Christmas tree was made entirely out of plasticine with prop baubles inserted in the branches and the presents were made out of medium-thickness card wrapped with thin coloured card.
CHARACTERS
The Little Monsters, Ogg and Eek, and Count Drago
These three characters were made primarily out of plasticine, their eyes made from beads painted white with plasticine inside and the teeth made out of white polymer clay baked for about 1 minute.
The coffin behind Count Drago was made out of cardboard and the inside lined with red felt.
Model replacements
These versions of Ogg are made of plasticine and act as placeholder puppets. When animating an action with Ogg, the regular puppet is used and the puppet is replaced with one of these models for a few frames when there's an exaggerated action which involves the character squashing and stretching their body.
Mini Me puppet
This is my ball-and-socket armature puppet.
The armature was provided by Malvern Armatures, the face and mouth parts are from Aardman Academy, the hair was made by gluing wire strands to the head and attaching balls of black wool to each strand, the hands are made out of silicon and I made the clothes out of old shorts and jeans.
SETS
Little Monsters dungeon set
The dungeon set is made out of three wall panels and a floor, all made of cardboard layered with kitchen roll for the stone texture, with the large stones in the wall made of balls of kitchen roll and painted with grey colours for a cold and dingey appearance.
Orange living room set
The wall and floor were both made of large sheets of orange and white card respectively, the sofa made of cardboard and the plant made of small strips of green card with the pot made of cardboard.
